The German-language forum now features a special section, the Kids’ Corner, where children and their parents, grandparents, and teachers can discuss everything related to drawing and painting or crafts and creative games.

Why?

Actually, it’s quite obvious, and I wonder why I didn’t think of it sooner, since I’ve been part of this target group—educators and parents—for some time now.
And the new moms on our team can look forward to joining in on the fun here.

In any case, I wanted to make the forum more appealing to children and their caregivers, since most of us are involved with children and drawing and painting are particularly beloved hobbies for children (most lose interest as they grow into adulthood, though some find their way back).

I always thought it was a shame that young artists never really dared to join the forum and that it was always dominated by adults. The adults, like me, were getting older—but overall, they’re also older than I am. I always found that very fascinating. However, it increasingly deters younger people. So, a new (realistic) target audience for the forum.

Important information about this section:

Images must be uploaded via an external image host; we have no restrictions on the images themselves (only the copyright must clearly belong to the person posting the image—for children, this is the legal guardian).

There is also no need to create a separate forum account. Guests can post here. However, the posts must then be approved by a moderator. Advertisements, of course, will not be approved.

I hope this section is well-received and that parents—as well as grandparents—actively participate.
